So I got an IVA-W200 from work for cheap cause it's like two years old, actually got it below dealer cost, lol, still in mint condition, it was our display. Decided to mold it in instead of cutting a holw, using the cage, and having gaps around the bezel. I'm doing it between jobs at work so not done yet. Will update when I get more pics/ finish hopefully tomorrow.
Some pics:
Used the cage to get the rought size of the whole:
All cut out, super glued (plastic 'tack welding', lol) the bezel in. Also got rid of the rear wiper control since I shaved it last year anyways.
All filled in, just needs some sanding then some featherfill.
sanded down, now ready for featherfill (undofrtunately no pics of that though, forgot)
Sanded, feather filled, wet sanded, and now texture painted, needs another coat or two, than to brace the radio from behind in the dash.
How it sits in my truck while it waits, lol.. Switches jsut chillin in the hole so I don't have flashing 4x4 lights.
