Just bought one on e-bay, model #QL-C1EXP110A01. Crutchfield shows this as being the one that would fi my '96 XLT 4 door (with premium sound), but the pictures on ebay looked like it might not fit. The deal was too good to pass up, so if it ends up not working out, I'll just resell it. Anybody installed one of these in their truck that would know if this is the part number for the box that would fit my truck? Also, I'm trying to figure out the best 10" speaker I can get for $150 or less (preferably less). Right now I'll be running it with an old 100w Rockford Fosgate amp, but eventually, I'm probably going to get an RF Punch 250a2, so I should probably get something that can handle some power. Any ideas?
Thanks

I just installed a Stealthbox in my 2000 Explorer and the applications for that box are 91-2000.. My guess is your's should be the same as I'd think the boxes are probably very close in size and configuration.

I got a Punch 160, 2 channel that's bridged mono.. Supposed to put out 160 x 1 at 4 ohms.. the certificate states 284 at 2 ohms.. More than enough power and I tapped into the factory speaker front wires..

You'll need to remove the "wings" on the punch amp to mount it in the Driver's side compartment.. Then after adjusting the gain and punch, I think I'll be able to put one "wing"/heat sink back on..

Good luck..

You would think that I work for MTX the way I always promote the Thunder 6000. I have that one in my advantage box (simlar to the q-logic one), and I love it!! I would definately go with that setup. I have that one 10" hooked up to my MTX 400Wx1 and it sounds better than my friends epxlorer which has 2 10" fosgate subs powered by a jensen amp (it isn't that powerful). But his sounds like crap. Go to http://www.tms-electronics.co. They have the Thunder 6000 10" for $80. If you go to the search thing on top of the page, just go to subwoofers in the categories menu, and leave the others blank, cuase they don't know MTX in the company menu. But, they also have the Thunder 8000 for $150, and it is better than the 6000, but it would probably be too much if you are not going to be running that much wattage to it.

I have the Q-logic in my 2-door with a 10 inch Kicker Solo Baric 2-Ohm. I was never really a HUGE fan of the Solo Barics because i felt that you can hear them more than you can feel them. The Q-logic stealh box is also meant for the Expedition but it fits better in the explorer. The speaker works rather well but sometimes its just not enough for me, thats when i plug in my 2 12inch JL's. I say get it if your not a "BASS HEAD"
