Finally putting together a system in my monty!!!!! I want the system to be totally stealth. The problem that I am running into is I do not know the internal measurements of a q-logic box that holds a 10 inch sub.I have called q-logic and the tech that I spoke to did not know!!!!!!!!!I am looking to use a jl audio sub, specifcally the 10w3 or the 10w6. If any one has the infor. that I need please reply.

q-logic 8" is .35 cu ft, 10" is .65 cu ft

hope that helps-don't know if you're looking for complete internal measurements or just the internal volume?

Thanks, what I need is the internal measurements , depth , height and width.

height isn't an issue since there's only a ring there, but i've been looking up the same thing. Depth is 5.691 inches, and volume is .65 cu. ft. the jl's might be a tiny bit too deep, but it's possible to have some kind of spacer between the sub basket and the enclosure. anything a quarter-inch thick oughtta be enough.

That's the same thing I was thinking! My thought is using a 3/4 plyboard as a spacer.

you could do that, but then height will come into play...i'd use a spacer just barely thick enough to fit the sub. i also recommend finding the most efficient sub possible for such a small space. Me: I'm looking into MA Audio subs, cuz they fit the depth, can handle plenty of power, match the volume, and are about the most efficient subs i can find to fit the box.

My Rockford Fosgate HE2 10" fits fine.

how did it work depth-wise? i usually go by crutchfield specs, and it says it's almost 1/4 inch too deep.

I looked into finding a 12' that would fit .65 cuft too and remember IDQ and one line of Cerwin Vega had the right sealed box specs.

Hey Black Magic - Do you have any pics of how you mounted your amp? I'm kinda curious about doing something like that myself. Thanks.

Did some research the 10w6 has an overall mounting depth of 5.5 ins. That's from mounting from the outside of the box. The mounting depth is 4.875ins .Do you think the 10w6 will work? Check out the 10w3s and the mounting depths will not work with the q-logic box.
