Q-logic sub etc...

Whoever is using the Q-logic 10" custom insert sub that fits in the rear panel-how is it. Is it just as good as if it was a 10" in a box or better. Since its on one side, and not in the center, is the sound lobsided or cool.

Also, what size amp is alright for the sub.

i dont know as i dont have one but bass is suppossed to unidirectional or undirectional.

there are people that like the stealth boxes, but i dont recommend them.

the volume in the box isn't large enough for most higher end subwoofers, and the ones that will work, will not perform to their potential. you are better off getting a box for the cargo area. but if you need all the space, you can make a custom enclosure for under the rear seat. it can be sealed, or you can have ports facing forward.

bottom line.... listen to a stealth box system, then listen to a system with a sub box in the cargo area. you will notice deeper, cleaner, more defined and harder hitting bass.

As far as "lopsided" sound, it's not going to make a difference. Bass sounds as if it comes from all over the place in a car.
