new rims and tires?

looking to upgrade the rims and tires on my 01 sport but seem to have run into a problem. I know all the sites and what not on getting them for imports but nothing for domestic suv's. I am looking for something in 17's because i do not want something too big and can still go off the beaten path with no problems. Any website info would be great.

tirerack.com has rims for anything, if you don't care about name brand you can also find plenty on ebay. I bought 2 sets of rims on ebay, both were great.

tire rack is very limited if i wanted to pick them out for just my year of explorer. I looked at ones from 99 to 01 and each year had a different selection. I guess i will have to look by size and bolt pattern. I do not abuse it so i guess i could get away with a car rim (07 mustang GT style). So does anyone else know any sites that carry rims for SUV's?

Tire rack and many other tire/wheel places won't list many options for the explorer, because of the whole firestone fiasco. Try searching for ranger instead.
