there are reviews all over the forum concerning shocks..i think a lot of people are getting good results with the Bilsteins and Rancho 9000 shocks..im putting on the rancho's and doing the shackle and TT as well..doubt i will be doing any aal's since i plan on doing a SAS in january or so..

ok ill search again, but will i need longer ones? or will stock size do for the TT/Shakles/AAL ? thanks

the stock size should do fine for just shackles and a tt..

Will new shocks like Ranch 5000 help w/ the sag on 2nd gen Explorers?
I too am doing the Shacks and TT.

Also try the product review section. Several of us have reviewed different shocks.

New shocks may help your sag, they seemed to make mine worse. It picked the front end up more than it did the back end. Most ppl do the AAL or shackles to level their rig out.

I have WAR 153 shackles that are used but still good. I'm looking to trade for good looking OE shackles, or just outright sell them. Would rather trade. I wanna go back to stock height. Interested?

Yesterday, I put on the Rancho RS5000. Still had the original ones, still rode pretty good. The RS5000 do ride stiffer, but nice. Have fun removing the old ones, it is a PITA.
