As I recently turned 126k miles, I believe it's time for me to replace my original shocks. I think I got my money out of them...just like my BFG tires that lasted 7 years and 116k that just got replaced earlier this week.

Is there any preference as to the replacement shock? As you can imagine, I don't have much of a ride preference, do a lot of highway driving, and only carry heavy loads (firewood) a short distance away.

Anything to watch for during the installation? The Haynes manual is pretty straightforward, but more than once they left out a step here or there that threw me. Because everything is rusty down there, I've been hitting it with PB Blast every day for a week to make things easy one me.

Thanks in advance. I always get good advice and guidance from everyone on here.:us:

I just got a pair of monroe Reflexes and I really like them, especially since they are relatively inexpensive.

go to shockwarehouse.com and use the discount code EXPLORER
