Looking for suggestions for new shocks. I have a 1999 XLT with 55K. I live and drive in the city and don't want anything too rough. Any help will be appreciated.

Monroe Reflex shocks are not real expensive, and they are probably the best on-road shock you can find for under $50 each. I paid $42.99 each for mine and I love them.

If you have the money, get the best, get Edelbrock Shocks and be done with it. LOL.

HotDogs

In the mist of mods now. See ya 10K later.
Where is that SuperCharger? Oh, It's at ExplorerExpress.com.

I have the original (blue) Tokico shocks. They handle great but the ride is stiff: I feel every bump. I spoke to Tokico about the Trek masters and they said that performence had been tweaked but they couldn't give me any deatial on the differences.
