New style of Altezza's for 98-01

I saw this in the newest Truckin' magazine, a company called Elegante is making these new Altezza's for 98-01 Ex's.

The company says they'll be out next month sometime. The price is still up in the air, but my guess is that they'll be around the $200-250 range.

These are for 98-01 Explorers. These will not fit the 01-present Sports or 02-present XLTs. These are for the old body style only.

HAHA what a friggin suprise! im not a fan of altezzas but i know there are some 01-02 sport owners out there who'd like them. but they cant have them because the industry is secretly getting together and having rallys against us, ultimately resulting in the extinction of all 01/02 sport mods.



i think black/carbon fiber altezzas on a black sport would look pretty tight. IMO

I think it all depends on the future of the Sport. By the end of summer I think they'll be some more stuff out for the 01 Sport.

This sucks. How many Explorers did Ford sell from 98-2001? Something like 350,000 a year? AND NOBODY MAKES CARBON FIBER ALTEZZAS EXCEPT PROCARPARTS (who suck anyway)?!?! Sheesh! I'd LOVE some carb fiber altezzas for my black Explorer..especially if they were proced for the same as those damnable Honda and Toyota ones....$250 is an awful lot for two little tail lights.

BTW, these are supposed to be available sometime this month in clear style (pic shown) and also in carbon fiber.

on a black explorer like yours, carbon fiber is the way to go. clear/chrome altezzas dont match anything on the truck.

I want to do something with my tails but I just dont like the look of the altezzas. I like the look of the just plain white ones better but I'm still not really sure how good they would look on my truck. I dont know...

I had to make do with the slotted tailight covers....they're not great, but they do add something....

I'd love to have carbon fiber headlight and tailight covers, but no one seems to sell them anymore

I wonder how those thing that spas has would look if I painted them green to match. Might not match the color of the lights so good.
