New to the forum, with a question!

Hi everyone, looks like a great forum here...

I hate for my first post to include a question but who better to ask....I just purchased my 96 XL 4x4 4dr, and filling 'er up she spewed gas everywhere.
It needs a tank, and I can get a used tank from a '95 4 door with the sender , pump, and everything for CHEAP. My question is, will it fit my 96?
Part #'s are slightly different but dimensions are the same.

Anyone know?
BTW I did search and couldn't come up with an answer
I look forward to chatting with everyone.

You will get a lot from your stay here

In my opinion, you should go ahead and get a new pump, for your year, but I believe the tank will work. Check the wiring-sender for compatability.
