New vs rebuilt half-shaft?

I need to replace my right half-shaft. All the parts stores stock the rebuilt ones and can get new ones in a day or two. The price is about the same for each. Am I better off with the rebuilt one, I am assuming it is a rebuilt Ford unit, or with a new one that I assume has a good chance of being built in China?

Opinions, experience?

Personally I'd go with new.

if price is near the same, go for new.

I went with new even though they cost ~$30/ea more than remanu'ed.
