You will end up calling Chris describing a beaver damn in a creek in hopes he can guide you out.

Nope no experience with that one ;)

Ill be doin the navigating tonight and sunday.....

we will be meeting up here tonight with whoever wants to come up, there will not be a definite meeting place tonight so if your coming up call my cell @ 570-401-6575..... and Ill guide you to somewhere for us to meet.

We will meet up sunday at mobile station on 924 (the usual gas station) we dont need to meet up so early as everyone will be hung over and tired from the night b4, so lets make it between 10 and 11am if thats ok with everyone.

if your coming up saturday, get ahold of lindsy for a meeting place.

Alright I'm almost ready I have to finish welding the clevis shackle/d-ring mount to the bumper after I drill the hole for the d-ring and cut the bumper for it. Now the question is, does anyone think that it would be better to have the mount go thru the bumper on both sides or just on one side. I can't really get to the backside without taking the tire carrier off the bumper and taking the bumper off the frame. I assume as long as I get good penetration on one side, I would be fine. Plus you can see a weld break as compared to a bolt.

If I were doing it...I'd go through both sides of the bumper...but that's just me :D

Dunno what I'm gonna do other than test it later tonight.. I think wrapping my tow strap around a concrete pole and then to the shackle mount and then driving off will test its strength.

Somebody needs to wrap a tow strap around your head and drive away :D

Obviously I didn't make it up there for wheelin tonight (DAMNIT)... it just took me way too long to get Shelby done, plus I'm dead tired so my @$$ is sleeping in tomorrow :)

Rookie, you can kiss my left buttcheek :p We might've been lost but we had fun! I imagine I'll be getting us lost again if anyone wants to do a little wheeling saturday evening before we head to the bar, lol. Current gameplan (object if you think we should change something) is to meet up at the Ramada Inn in Hazleton saturday night and the Exxon on Sunday around 11am. Who's going to be where, when?

I am going to be in michigan all freaking weekend, ALONE.

Oh wait I guess you meant who will be where in hazelton when didnt you?

hey linds, feel like making a stop on your way up :D I have no idea whats going on around here so i may make an apperance. Whats the situation looking like, (party or something sat night, wheel on sunday?)

Ramada Inn in Hazeleton, PA
1213 N Church St (Route 309)
Hazleton, PA
(570) 455-2061

major cross street is Route 309 & W. 28th Street.

Just a heads up for you guys - 1-3 inches of fresh snow is expected tomorrow into New Years Day for Northeastern PA. I have no idea if you can prepare for snow on the trails. However, if you have any magic dust that adds traction, I'd advise bringing it with you.

well.. its 3am, we just got back from wheelin..... good time, altho the ice can be a ***** sometimes.... as for the snow... thats nuttin, we've wheeled up here in much, much worse conditions, hell, last week, was it... when we had that ice storm.... we were out wheelin in it, altho our winches got a good workout, it was fun.

lins, I think you should make that meeting place damons parking lot just 1/4 mile off of 81 (exit 145, stay to your right onto 93 south and its on ur right, across the street from Penn state university), because that ramada is all the way on the other side of town a ***** to find.

Ill be back in the area bout 3 or 4 am sunday morning, if I dont see ya'll then, Ill catch up with ya later sunday morning.

badadada badadaaaadadada!!!!
leaving now...got to stop at my dads but then i'll be driving! ahh gonna be a sick weeekend!
linds and chris see ya in a cpl of hrs and if anyone else is going up early heres my cell:

If we meet @11 on Sunday, that won't leave a heckuva lot of wheeling time.....since it usually takes at LEAST an hour after we meet to get near a trail......You lazy drunks think you could make it to the Exxon by 10??

I won't be in Hazleton till probably around 7 or 8 this evening.

edit..... Jeff check your pm

Got it...see ya @ 11 tomorrow...wish we could come up tonight for the festivities but we're staying home with the kid....right now she has 2 friends from school over and the 3 little heathens are terrorizing the house, cats and parents... :D
