new years eve.. not a good time to get stuck!!

so i was pissed off and decided to wheeling (by myself - not wise) on new years eve of 06.... and i was good for a little bit.. now i should have known when to stop because ive been back there many a times... but i didnt stop when i should have and i got high centered in some huge ruts.. so i tried to get myself out but no luck.. so i called my bf.. who came out and tried for hours to get me out.. we had i think 3 diffrent trucks come and try, one of my buddies that came.. came drunk drove thru the trails and tried to get me out (DRUNK), but still no luck.... now by this point its like 1 am.. every one who was not there trying to help was drunk.. so anymore people arriving there to help was not going to happen.... oh and its raining now... so my bf decides to sleep the night in the truck, (because he had one of his trucks destroyed one night when he left it alone stuck in the mud) so he slept in my truck and i came nack the next day to get it out.. and my buddy who borrowed my drunk buddy's s10 blazer bumped me out after about an hour of sliding in the mud... oh and amongst all this mess i blew my 4wd motor !!!!.. i wish i had my camera tho cuz thinking back on it now.. its pretty dern funny!!!!

i had a similar thing happen to me a while back when i had my 95. except i was only struck for 5 hours and i had a budy in the car with me. and it was raining also. after that i never went alone again...

no no no i was not drunk .. one of my buddies that came to try and help was drunk when he came to try and help me out... and trust me thats the last time ill ever go alone... and that all depends.. where in hjersey are u.. i usually go in north and south brunswick.. there are obviously the pines.. and there are a few in like old bridge helmetta that i know about..... steve.. are you lifted at all or bigger tires at all?

nah im all stock unfortunately. itll get lifted eventually though. im in central jersey right by sandy hook, during school breaks anyway. otherwise im in ohio with no truck

nothin serious... i went out to the poconos for a few days after prom my senior year and there were some little trails out there to back roads and little nooks in the woods. I took some of those just to play around and it was fun as hell. now i really want to get into it.

ya i was never really big into it.. i mean i always thought it was kewl, but never daring enough to try.. and then my bf took me in his truck and tod me all kinds of awesome stories of his past trips and i was like YEAH!!!! LETS GO!!!!! and now im like obsessed with it.. i want my x a little bigger, not too much tho.. and then i want a 95ish ram (cuz thats what my bf has and its the most swesome beasty truck ever) but ya i dunno its tons of fun.. even getting stuck is fun (once u get out) but these xs are dern good off road... even on the road ive never lost control in the rain snow or ice it handles well and grabs whatever its driving on wonderfully.. and even the engines.. when u dont take care of them they still pretty much take care of u.. like mine has 193XXX on it and i havent dont an oil change in like 10k cuz ive been out of work and no money and shes still goin good... the only stuff thats broken is stupid stuff like my radio wont shut off, and my door chime is always on if the door is open weatger or not the keys are in or lights are on or off.. but w/e she still runs great i loooove her so much!!!
