NEWB: looking for 1999 Explorer Tuner

I've read most of the stickies, but everything I've read goes over my head and I can't find the basic answers I'm looking for.

Is there a tuner for my 1999 4.0 SOHC like the diesel guys run, or is it not quite as easy for us?

I had a '00 Sport with 4.0 SOHC and the drivetrain responds nicely to custom tuning.
