Newbie w/ 2000 Explorer

Hello all I recently got rid of my 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix GT and acquired a 2000 Ford Explorer with 200k miles. Rebuilt engine at 100k. Its a 2WD, SOHC. I was just wondering if there are any tips or things to look out for with this truck? How long they last, mpg, upgrades, etc?
