Hi ya All!
Igot a 96 ranger i picked real cheap, 2.3, 5 speed, 4x4. ok i had to replace the engine, i put another in it, this came out of an 97 ranger, after all was said and done, the motor runs great, smooth, no leaks or anything, my problem however is, now all my guage lights are on all the time, they were not on before i changed the engine, i tried unhooking the negative side of the battery, that only shuts off the check engine light temporarly. check guage,doorajar,battery, and check engine lights are on. does anyone have any idea what this could be, i did take it to the local parts store and they scanned the computer, it was only showing a code for the gas cap he said.
