Newbie with some questions.

First off hello, I have been searching the fourms and lurking around for a long while. Im a long time 4wheeler and have a built Jeep for the hardcore stuff. I recently bought a '06 Ranger 4wd for a daily driver/ light duty 4wheeling. 33's and a Eaton E-locker in the rear. Im set on a SuperLift 4" kit for the front but my only problem is I cant find any lift kit for 05-06 rangers.... is there any differance in the suspesion set up on an '04 compared to an '06. Whats the deal?

Also Im looking to put a smooth sided shell on the bed, but again I cant find anything for '05-'06...everything is for '04 or older. Whats the differance with the beds?

I can't tell you about the differences in models, but I can suggest that you look into RCD for a suspension system. They make a much better system for the IFS Ranger than Superlift.

I'm sure someone else can tell you about any difference in the suspensions.

Yea, the RCD kit is VERY nice but reality is its not worth the money for me. The trails Im going to run with this truck are MILD at most so I think the Superlift kit will due. Once the truck is paid for and my Jeep has had enough, I'll do a SAS and toss some 36/37" tires on the ranger and turn it into my next crawler.

it says on RCD's site that their kit works for '98-'02 did they make any changes to the suspension for '03? Im trying to find out if it will work on my '04 the RCD kit looks alot nicer than the superlift

Ford changed the 4x4 front rotor size from 11.28" to 12" in midyear 2003. The larger rotors will not work with the RCD knuckles. To use the RCD kit on a later truck, the brake rotors have to be changed to 11.28" like those on the 98~2003 1/2 4x4's.
