Check out this Superduty. Wrecked in the dealer lot with only 15 miles on it.

That truck is friggin' RUINED   ...I wouldn't even pay $6k for it. Maybe like $2k-$3k for that huge 6.8 V-10 though... :D

Poor tree.

I once saw a brand new Taurus in a junk yard, 6 miles on the odometer. The entire roof was caved in just like that truck, it looked like a steel beam fell on it or something.

Seems like such a waste.

Ha, thats funny, does the dealer get stuck with paying for the hwole truck when something like that happens, or is there such a thing as tree insurance.

I'd hate to be the salesman trying to unload that one. "Only 15 miles on her... and did I mention she drives around the lot just fine?"

That trucks destiny was to never haul anything...that sucks. The frame and running gear would be good for a special conversion, like a Grumman van body on top.

The dealer has insurance on all the vehicles on the lot that covers the same way your car insurance does. Remember, all those nice new cars are financed through Ford Credit so the dealer can "buy" them and sell them to the consumer. Anyhow, the dealer is covered for the loss.

I once saw a mini van get wrecked, brand new. It was sitting on the upper level of the trailer they use to deliver the cars. As the truck was pulling away, we saw the van start rolling backwards, right off the trailer. I guess they forgot to strap it down.

that is some crazy ass ****

Dealerships have an insurance policy called and umbrella policy, covers all vehicles in their possession. I worked at a Ford dealer for 4 years, you might be surprised how many new cars get wrecked, but that one is by far the worst I've ever seen.

big 6.8

That big 6.8 gets about 12mpg if you don't live in the city or the mountains.
City driving gets <10. highway driving ~15. My wife has an excursion with one.

Our family dealership (very small) got a new 05 mustang in, and went to trade it for another and on the way it hit a deer. Lots of damage, but the car held up really well.

is that like the same thing when you eat some major buffalo wings? ;)

haha at above comment

Anyone up for a V10 swap? :D

When my Sport was in the body shop, they had a brand new F150 that flopped its side on the carrier. Funny thing is, most dealers will sell those as new.

we had one truck on a delivery trailor try to make it under the Underpass.... Didnt fair to well.....

Thats a really bad one. I saw an f-150 a few years back that they dropped part of the car hauler mechanism on. The local dealer bonded the bed rails, painted, and sold as new. I would never buy anything off their lot.

hell yeah that **** is ####ed up
