Just wanted to start off by thanking everyone for the good info on mods I've gotten off of this board, both in response to my questions and from searching. I've recently installed a catback exhaust, KKM, Granatelli MAF, and a BBK TB and have been pleased with the results so far. I've ordered an Apten chip and I'll be installing it next week when it arrives.
So, having made these mods, I was wondering what others might be good choices for my next ones. I've considered headers and a new OEM spec cat converter as my next ones. Would those be good choices? They seem to be the next best logical ones based on my limited knowledge. Also, in the mean time, would new spark plugs/wires be a good choice? I had the spark plugs replaced about 6 months ago (before I made my mods, of course). What plugs/wires be most beneficial given my current/planned mods?

Motorcraft plugs and wires are good. Maybe do gears next?

The stock replacement Motorcraft plugs will give you the best performance.

Jacob wires!!

Just the question I was about to ask

I've got the same mods (with the Apten on order), with Jacobs wires. I've heard headers help, but you lose low-end torque/power. So the gears would help compensate for that?
And after those?......<here comes Alec with "get a S/C!">

I had my cat converter flow tested when I got the magnaflow exhaust installed. There was less than 1lb difference between the inlet and outlet flow. It was not worth replacing since it is flowing well. I would have it tested before you spend money on a new cat converter.
