There are long travel Nissan suspensions being developed for the desert crowd :)
who is developing them? ive only seen one nissan desert truck, it was in the dirt sports magazine and i think it was a frontier pro truck

Well if the friggin search button over at DezertRangers was working I would post the truck, I was unable to find it. It is the test mule for a company who is making long travel A arm suspension kits for the new Nissan platforms

Its a silver frontier with fiberglass, etc.

yeah its been down for a while, i think i know which one you are talking about now that you mention it.

there is actually another LT frontier, its a red one and its on the opening page of racerunner.com, has a total chaos sticker on the windshield so maybe they are building kits for them. sorry for jacking the thread guys

yeah they are building kits, might be 2wd only however...

I have only two problems with the Xterra:

1) It has IFS. Just like every other newer midsize SUV out there, which is why I still drive my 92 explorer (even with the grossly underpowered but reliable as hell pushrod 4.0L).

2) It's foreign (yes I know it's prolly "made" on US soil by US workers, but nissan is still a foreign company). No one get offended, I don't mean it like that. This is just my opinion and I realize not many share it anymore. It is, however, a fact that would keep ME from buying one.

Thats my 2 cents.

Oh, and for anyone who is interested, my 92 4.0L with 120,000 miles gets 18 city and 23 highway milage.

i have always thought that the x terra's were awsome there are a couple of them up here that are built up and they play hard and seem to hold up
