Recently I bought a Pioneer FH-P404. I'm trying to get my ipod to work through the aux imput with an ipod adapter cable. Now on to the problem I'm not getting any sound from it at all. It seems to be getting signal from the ipod as the graphic eq shows it's there. Any thoughts?

Try a new cable, the graphic equalizer might just be getting static or w/e.

Is it like a headphone to headphone type connection, or RCA cables?

check the instructions, and if you don´t have´em, try searching online for them, maybe in the home page of the product. It might actually just be a little adjustment or button.

thanks guys I figured it out. The cable was fine, it's an ipod connector, to the proprietary pioneer connector. I was trying to set the clock, and going through the options I found one to turn the aux imput on. I assumed that even though it thought it was a multi-disc changer that it would still work since it's the same imput, but I guess not. Oh well.

As far as a manual I can't find one anywhere, it's a 10 year old unit, and pioneer doesn't have a manual on their site.
