I told a couple people on here about a month ago I would show some pictures of my fog light setup. I'm not sure what all years this works on but mine is a 2000. It works on explorers with the textured grayish bumpers that have the fog light plugs. I think this style bumper was only on select xls and sport models.

First, just remove the fog light plugs. Then get a pair of 4" pilot fog lgihts from auto zone. (not sure the part number, I can find it if any of you absolutely need it..... They were the only 4" pair that my autozone had.)

On my explorer I didn't have to do an braket fabrication or anythign like that. I just bolted them into the hard plastic shown in the picture. I originally had them screwed with self tapping screws and they came loose. So I replace the supplied screws with bolt/nut combos. Heres the pics, let me know if anyone has questions.

wow, gator jeff, I wish I would have seen this when I was trying to come up with my plan. Yours look great too. I havent had any problems with vibrations, etc... I think because that plastic part we mounted them on has a little bit of give to it. I've actually had them on there for about a year now, and all is well.

I'm personally not a big fan of the blue on mine, but the color of the light output is very nice. It matches my silverstars almost perfectly.

Hopefully someone who is in the market for a foglight setup can use our ideas to their advantage.
