2003 ford explorer limit 4.6 had a problem with no heat.
read the acuator is a common issue.
my seemed to be working so i checked to heater core hoses both were cold so i tried to flush it and discovered the hose going into the heater core has a valve hooked to a vacuum line an it was not working anymore keeping it blocked so i un hooked the leaver an just turned it open now no problems or you could just replace the part to.
not sure if anyone else has this issue i didnt see anything on here about this part so i thought i would share it
this hose runs under the air intake tube down the passenger side follow the hose you will see it. easy fix.
if thats not your problem it might be your acuator and there is very detailed post on this site.
