2013 Ford Explorer Limite
I have a 2013 Ford Explorer Limited. This morning I went to turn it on, and I have NO POWER at all. The SYNC screen read, batt diagnostics. But then turned off. I attempted to turn it once more, the brake pedal was extremely hard, and when I depressed the ignition button. All that I heard was a clicking sound from the car, and the dash & SYNC monitors were blinking on and off very fast. Can ANYONE, help me with this? I attached some lead cables (multimeter), and the screen read -9.4. If the battery is dead, what would have killed it? Could it be a non charging Alt? What are my options? The car was working PERFECTLY, all day yesterday.:fire::fire: When I use my key remote, the horn honks two times. Could this be a clue for something?:fire::fire::fire:

9.4V at the battery indicates that the battery is discharged. Could be a bad battery, something was left on that drained the battery (but the battery saver system should have prevented that), or the system not charging.

Welcome to the Forum Humberto Rodrigu.:wavey:
It definitely sounds like an electrical issue and as JDraper pointed out, possible the battery. That is where I would start. The vehicle and battery should both still be under warranty so get in touch with your dealer.

I managed to get the car started this morning. I'm at the Ford Dealer this morning. They are doing a full diagnostic check, the battery was put in brand new when I bought the car. Hopefully it's just the battery, and not a major electrical problem. Thanks for your input.

My guess is a bad battery...
