no power for a minute

When I start my x, I take off and it feels like it's bogging down. Kinda sounds like if your clogging the exhaust and unclogging it. I replace the cat and muffler so the exhaust is up to par. It is a 4.0 automatic. If I punch it, it mumbles for a bit then it guns itself or even if I tap/play with the pedal it goes away but now I am starting to notice it is off at lower rpms. Fuel filter has been changed. I was thinking an idle control switch or something of that nature?

Exact same thing happened on my "97 5.0L. Turned out to be a faulty coil pack. Engine couldn't get out of its own way under load.

Might just be use to give me a misfire code. I'll check into that.
