I have a 2008 mountaineer lost drive and reverse 5000 after a rebuild, had it rebuilt again by someone else and lost it again after less than 3000 miles. When it happened the second time their were two incidents where I pulled off from a stop and the transmission seemed to slip, pulled over put it in park, back to drive and everything worked for about a week. The second time it happened I noticed when I clicked my overdrive, it wouldn’t come up on the dash. Shut the truck off everything worked the rest of the day and by that night I lost it again and never got it back. On the second rebuild, Pump stator had groves in it and was replaced, overdrive planet splines where worn, converter all those were replaced, all the normal rebuild stuff shift kits any ideas??
