No REVERSE

I just installed my rebuilt valve body from central valve bodies, filled her back up with fluid, started it up put in reverse and its goes forward? all the gears go forward even park...and neutral.... Guys any help would be great... IM stumped...

I didn't realize that you have a 5R55E. I thought that it was an A4LD. My mistake. You don't have a Z link on the 5R55E. It's possible that the linkage isn't connected either internally or externally.

Now would I havent unhooked the linkage during the Vb removal? Will be going back under today...The old vb gasket was destroyed so I hope this does the trick.

No Movement at all

I replaced my VB with a Remand one from CVB, Got it all back together and Now she want move a inch, forward or back... Any thoughts..... Its a 5R55E

This is weird, I just went out and started it, and put it in R and It actually went in reverse and moved about 10 ft then stopped.. Im bout ready to burn it... Any Help

Both posts were moved into this thread. Let's keep everything in one place. Did you use a 1/4" drive In/Lb torque wrench on the valve body bolts?
