Whats happening............
truck starts fine when cold and been sitting

when i drive it to say the store it wont start back up till its cooled for a while

there is fuel to the rail But there is NO SPARK at the plugs.....WTF?

Has anyone a clue as to where to start?

Thanks for your time

CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR

search for it on this forum, read a bit

then go check your wiring plug and sensor...

first place I would start followed by the CPS (cam pos Sensor)

Do you have a check engine light?

Aloha

there is no check engine light on

truck drives great when i drive around

just hot engine compartment= no spark= no start

will read up on the cam sensor

Thanks yeah

NO read up on the CRANKSHAFT Position sensor FIRST

the cam sensor usually makes noise and sets a check engine light if it fails

The truck won't stall or anything when it warms up but if you shut it off, it wont restart?

I think the CPS would throw a code...are you sure the check engine light works?

ok so i changed the crank position sensor still no start after the engine warms up....

that sucks..........oh the possibilities of wasted $$$

any other options anyone else have luck with

Could be the coil pack.
