No start, tracing electrical connections, single tick noise

I will check the cables. I replaced the solenoid. Is the start relay in the box under the fuse box? I was looking around and found three or four plugs in the relay box under the fuse box. It's been pretty crappy here so haven't had a chance to get out there, supposed to be nice this weekend so I'm going to go out and do some work on it.

Update***

Problem solved!!! I decided to pull the starter again to clean the cable end and spade connection. While I had it out I decided to have it tested again, this time I took it to a different place and since it would start on occasion I told them to zap four or five times, this time there was nothing at all. Dead in the water. I then took it back to my neighborhood parts store to get a replacement and they offered to test it so I told them sure what the heck, this time it attempted to do its thing but it made such a racket, confirmed bad starter. MY LESSON HERE: Listen to your gut, if you suspect the starter and you have it tested and it passes, have them zap it a few times, it cost nothing to do. It may keep you from chasing problems that don't exist or spend money you don't need to. From the git go I thought that was the issue however I can't recall a starter making that noise, the single click, and it passed the first test.
