No Sub-Bass?

So I have a 23 Base that I am adding an aftermarket subwoofer and have a question about. The vehicle appears to be putting out significantly rolled off bass below 80hz. This at both low and high volumes. (above and below 15 on the knob)

I am measuring a 20db difference between 40hz and 80hz with the sub both connected and disconnected.

I have even gone into forscan and changed the eq to setting 0 to see if that helps to no change.

Also made sure I'm not connected to a rear channel.

The vehicle is a fleet model if that makes any difference as well.

Any other reasons anyone can think of for the lack of sub bass?

if you are measuring that kind of drop from sub volume level, how do you know it's not your powered sub that's the problem. You using an LOC? My understanding is that on tue base system, it is full audiobsignal--no signal processing like the B&O.

You may have to mess with the equalizer on your phone to get decent sound. That was a problem with my sister's top tier ecosport.
