No Vehicle Speed

I have an 97 EB Explorer with the typical slip going into overdrive. I have checked the tranny out and it's not internal. I also hooked a scanner to it and found it doesn't read any vehicle speed. I unplugged the speed sensor and the speedo didn't work. Is this the speed sensor or the computer? Will it also help with the tranny problem? Please help!!!!!!!

Welcome to this forum! Do you have any problems with the ABS or the cruise control?

Not with the ABS but Cruise seems to engage and disengage quickly.

Ialso Hooked up a scanner and the fuel trims are all at -100.6 and the o2 sensors read 0.000
