I finished rebuilding the engine and transmission about 8 months ago and the other day I noticed a noise coming from bellhousing, the first torque converter I put in was bad out of the box so I sent it back and got another one and a new flex plate (just in case) now 8 months later I am hearing a sound that sounds like loose change in a drier or debris being sucked through a vacuum hose. Like a dull unrhythmic metallic ish but almost liquid sounding noise not so much pinging or rattling. Coming from bell housing when the vehicle is in drive or reverse sitting still with brake applied and goes away after about ten seconds to hear it again you have to shift to park then back into gear ,shifts fine no performance issues and no noise at speed or park/neutral but it defiantly concerns me. Any ideas??? can I get away with driving it for a few more weeks until I can take it off the road and pull the tranny for the third time this year.is this the famous torque converter rattle I've heard about by the way don't order from torco on eBay if this is a Tc problem that's two in less than a year I guess they don't consider the amount of work it takes to change these parts out when they oops sorry send you a junk tc
