This is driving me insane.
2010 Explorer AWD 4.0 - At 65+ I have this humming noise that sounds like it is coming from everywhere. Sometimes it does it, other times it doesn't. It is NOT dependent on throttle, engine RPM, in/out of gear or turning left/right. I've replaced almost everything except the truck at this point. See below -
All 4 wheel bearings
Rear axle shafts
Rear differential
Both driveshafts were balanced and new u-joints
Completely rebuilt the transfer case
Road force balanced tires
All calipers, brake components
I've had transmission shops tell me they have no idea what it could be. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
