So after reading several threads, the brown wire mod will trick the 4wd into being engaged full time. Also the way the transfer case is set up, I forget what it's called but without the brown wire mod, one axle is disengaged until the computer determines slipping of the rear wheels then it locks in.
If I'm wrong on that please correct me.
Here are my questions about this:
1. Isn't that typically how LSD works?
2. Couldn't a person leave this type of setup in 4 hi full time if it's not technically engaged? What damage would that cause?
3. Does anyone else with a white explorer get ignorantly compared to OJ Simpson even though the bronco is not an explorer?

Hey Man, what are you talking about?

I think you need to go back and read the brown wire mod threads in more detail. You're way off line...
