2000 sport. Mono leafs and 4 door leaf packs are the same length, right? Guy at the stealership seems to think differently. Thank you!

Hey, I dont know if you bought your new springs yet. I dont think there are any differences in the spring width or length. I just did the swap 3 weeks ago and it only took me a half hour. I got mine from the junk yard off a 97 4 dr. They fit perfectly.

I knew that was the case, too. After reading multiple write-ups on EF of course! I just let the parts monkey try to tell convince me otherwise. I should have known he was full of $#it when he told me, "I had a Sport and even towed a boat and the mono-leafs never sagged on me!". His boat must have been made by Hasbro!

Lesson learned, always trust the forum over anyone behind any counter, anywhere!

They're not all idiots though. I called the place back and got a different guy and while he had never heard of it, after listening to the same explanation I gave to the first idiot, he said "Sounds good to me.".

I'm putting in some pretty Rancho RSX17000s at the same time so I'll post some before, during and after pics when I'm done. Replacing the shakles at the same time after seeing how well they've "holed" up on other mid-atlantic/northeast explorers.

Jeff if you plan on getting 4 door leaf packs, get a v8 pack if you can.. Better yet, go to Crazy Rays in Jessup and pull a set..
