96 explorer sport 4x4
Hey, I have a 96 explorer sport with 2"tt 3"bl and finally got around to aligning it. I work at a ford dealership so it was free, but what a pain it was. The first thing i did was replace the square camber shims with the round ones in the camber shim kit. . . pretty easy. Then i pulled it on to the rack. It took a long time to adjust the camber because it was so far off. it was so off that i could not get the right wheel within spec(probably because of the torsion twist) it was only off about .02 degrees, but i wish i could have got it perfect. I would have loosened the torsion bolts, but i need to fit 33's under it . Just thought i'd let you know how fun explorers are to work on in your free time!

You should be able to clear 33s and still lower the front end a little bit to get your camber right, though I beleive .02 is with in spec.

mine is speced out... and i cranked my torsion bars up way more than 2" i prolly got around 4" of TT but im prepared for my CV's to grenade so i can replace them with some custom CV's im having made at a local Drag Racing shop.

Yea, im not too concerned. I just want my 33's!!
