Alright thanks alot BrooklynBay il let you know what happens.

Ok well dont have time to go do the govenor going to start raining. But today i noticed it trying to get into second at 3000rpm it did 2 or 3 times the rest of the times the rpm drops then goes up again but doesnt shift it seems.

I'm having the same issues, (dunno if cruise affects it or not) But if I keep on the gas, the RPMs will continue to rise with no upshift unless I let off the gas, then it'll shift. I don't know if it's actually shifting into 2nd or 3rd though.

I've replaced the servo, no change.
I adjusted the bands and it shifted great. Briefly. When I really laid into it, it went back to how it was before.

I'm thinking that the bands are hooped. I believe I'll have to drop the tranny and replace some parts.

Well still having the same troubles it works good sort of i was on the highway and i was in 2nd i went abit on the gas not hard or anything and it seemed like my tranny slipped rpms went way up really quick. Got a new modulator so il just change that for now...

I was having a similar problem as yours (really high rpm's before changing to second). I went to change my modulator valve(Pulled the front seats, carpet and access cover in the floor) and discovered that I had a vacuum hose with a big gaping hole in it. I repaired that and changed out the pain in the butt modulator valve and and haven't had a problem since.
