Well now i finally did it. Getting with in a few weeks of lifting my 92 Explorer a nother car popped up. So now i have a 96 V6 Explorer. So far i love it however it just needs alittle work like a Rack and Pinion and EGR valve. But already i am hoping that this will be the car i lift and go off-roading. I have looked into the TT and BL lift and that seems to be the best and cheapest route. However i was wondering how capable the 2nd gens are. These past couple of weeks i have become very good freinds with the search feature and have read and looked at many pics. But i was wondering if some one could point me in the direction of 2nd gen off-roading pics and a possible discussion of how capable they are. And once again in advance i would like to thank all the people helping me out with all the ideas that i HAD wanted todo but never did, Thanks again

It really depends on what you do to it. Unless you lock at least the rear you'll spin a lot. Just remember that the front IFS is really your limiting factor with these trucks.

well i really want to go off-roading. And i think that the max lift and tire would be 4.5" and 33's.

3" BL, torsion twist, add a leaf and shackles will fit a 33x12.5 tire.
May need to regear 4.10 to 4.56. Add traction device to rear (type depends on you driving). You will have a very capabile vehicle.
