I am new here and thanks for the welcome. I just bought a 2001 Sport Trac and so far it's been worth the killer deal I got on it. BUT...About half the time, at little or part throttle (accelerating), the first to second shift decides to kick back down and rev to 4 grand or better before it shifts. Then it kinda does another 'half-shift' then ito second. About half of the times that occurs, afterwards I get the O/D on-off to start blinking. I am an old school mechanic but anything this new is out of my wheelhouse. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
