O/D light flashing Automatic Shift Irregular

just started O/D light flahing and shifting hard goes thru all gears but sometimes stuck in 2nd, Tranny shop says needs new trans i think its BS how can you need a new trans when it shifts??? HELP!

If the fluid is fine then it very well may be an internal problem with the tranny or torque converter.

I recommend Cottman Transmissions. They give a free inspection and if they say you need work, you most likely do.

iTS A 95 EXP LIMITED

WITH A 110K ON IT TRANS SHIFT THRU ALL GEARS BUT SHIFTS HARD ALONG WITH FACT WHEN YOU GO FROM STANDING START TRANNY DOESNOT WANT TO UP SHIFT HAVE TO BACK OFF AND FEATHER PEDAL SO IT SHIFTS, GOES UP IN TO OD TOO, ALL 4 GEARS, I THINK ITS AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM BUT WHAT DO I KNOW I ONLY WORKED ON CARS IN MY PREVIOUS LIFE( JAGUAR TILL 1992)

Could be the TPS, throttle position sensor.

And please don't type in all caps, makes it much harder to read.
