Hi from Japan:)
I have 00y Explorer XLS with RHD:exp:

I need your help! I'm looking for O ring seal for fuel injector line.

Few days ago, I had to try to replace thermostat hausing because of coolant leak and cut off a fuel line near the thermostat.
After connected the line, I found the gas leak from that point and the O ring seal went bad.

It is a seal between Fuel Injector Line Part#9E964 and Fuel Injection Supply Manifold #9D280.
The O rings size are 7.5mmID , 3.6mmW with green/dark green color.
Anyone could you tell me the part number?

Thanks, Koichi

Greetings from South Dakota

I cannot find that o-ring listed. I think it is the same o-ring that is used for the injectors. If not, many mechanics will have a supply of assorted o-rings, as do many parts stores. You should be able to have one match it. If one of your local dealerships (any manufacturer) does not have them on hand, check with a shop that specializes in diesel trucks.

It needs to be that green color. That means it is a rubber that is resistant to fuel and the alcohol in many fuels.

When you re-install it. put a drop of oil over the o-ring and rub the oil all over the surface of the ring. That will lubricate the ring and help it seat properly without pinching.

I'll go to dealer at first.
Thank you for your help!!
