obd-II how to test???

I have a 96 explorer with 4.0 and the CEL is on. How do you do a test on the OBD-II? What pins do you jump? I have a plug like this. http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=147880

You can go to autozone, or orielly's and they will pull the codes for you--

don't buy any parts, until you post the codes. Remeber this-An o2 sensor code means the sensor is doing it's job, in most cases-

Don't back prob any pins. The EEC-v system needs a scanner to read codes. Most parts houses will pull them for free. If you have a SCT ExCal2 or anyone who does they can pull the codes as well.
