Hey guys, anyone from the NJ area know of places that you can just drive to at any time to mess around off-roading a little bit?

If you know of places, what are they called or where are they if they dont have a name.

Thanks.

There aren't many places to wheel in NJ that are legal. there are some places up in mahwah but i just heard a couple of guys camping got jumped so i'd stay away from there at night. There are also some trails up in rockaway but nothing to hard. could be done with a stock truck. the only place to go really is south jersey. there are places to go in wharton state forest, lacey, forked river. the best place to go is to make the trip out to PA and wheel @ paragon. its legal and they have the best trails around. a bunch of us are going to the all ford nationals @ carlisle and then wheeling @ paragon. i was just looking at Wharton.... how is it there? is it free and legal? The pics look like fun.

wharton is cool but you have to be careful. there are alot of trails down there and some of them are under 3+ feet of water so you have to be careful. other than that theyre just real simple roads that lead no where. I've cruised them alone but i wouldnt recommend it, i had a GPS with me and even then it probably wasnt the smartest thing to do. if you wanna go wheeling let me know i know a couple of people on the board here that would love to do some wheeling.

Yea we should deffinetally set something up to do some wheelin. I wanted to go before but school just ended 2 weeks ago, so now i have more time. Well, otherthan work.... but i guess a Sunday would be the best to go right? I know 2 of my friends that would be up for it too.

wharton is really a weekend trip, takes too long to get there for one day of wheeling. But it is water, and bearings do not like it. I'll go, but like I said, we'd have to leave friday, camp, wheel saturday, and then heasd back on Sunday, to allow for repairs

I'm thinking of going, does any one know about the camping at the show (it says you can in the registration) Just wondering cuz hotel would brake my trip and I wouldn't be able to go

Edit sorry wrong thread
can a admin delete this?
