I was just wondering what is the suggested offset for 20's on a X. This guy wants to sell me some wheels for mine and the offset is 30mm can yall tell me if thats ok cuz I heard i need a 20mm offset, Thanks

The rims (20") I purchased had a 40mm offset and as a result wouldn't fit properly on the front. I had to get an air-powered dremel with a set of grinding stones to grind down some of the inside of the wheel and the lip of the rotor. They went on fine after that, and although they don't seem to be having any problems, I still didn't feel comfortable having to grind it down.

40mm offset wheel

I just purchased a set of American Eagle wheels(025)-20x8.5 and im a little stumped about the offset. The offset is 40mm. yesterday i put the rim on the front and i noticed that there was about a inch if that between the upper A-arm and the rim. Will i be okay? The offset look the same as "Blackmagic's" on his website. He mentioned he had a little rubbing at full lock, but his rim is 20x9. I hear so many bad things about spacers and adapters. Do i have to get a smaller tire. Maybe a 275/40 instead of 45.
