Oh girl i built my boxes... BEAST!

Ok so ive started the sound project, built the boxes for the 15" x.. RE subs that are goin in, each has its own box... They arnt covered or braced yet. but heres some pics... btw, each is tuned to 27.25 hz and is 5.5^3 airspace.

those ports are WAY too small, dont be surprised if you get very large amounts of port noise.

welll i used winisd pro and thats what it said to use, so i used it... i dont think that ill get port noise, but hey maybe i will.

how much port area is that per sub? If you calculate it the correct way, for a box tuned to 27hz, you should have ~90 square inches of port PER sub. The ABSOLUTE minimum id give a x.. 15 is 45 sq in.

Im gunna be runnin a Hifonics XX colossus 3200rms amp at full power, hopefully ordering the rest of my stuff next week, if they ports turn out to small ill make a new one, no big deal really... but i think they will be ok... or hope at least -Mike
