snap-on tools are always top notch in quality as it showed in this case.. i'm so glad that this oil plug headache is now over..

thanks for all the great tips and suggestions on how to get this thing out!

now to get back at that still leaking axle shaft seal.. i bought another one but this time it's a national/moog brand.. the base area looks different with a metal base..

The last time I remove my Explorer's oil drain plug was in 1994. when I installed a Fumoto valve. I've installed one on every vehicle I have owned since. They are worth every penny..

i already ordered one and it's going on the next time i do my oil change which is probably by march..
