2003 Ford Explorer Eddie
I bought a 2003 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer 4.0L with the optional 17 inch rims...im actually impressed with my purchase. Third Ford in my life. Solid suspension, runs good, feels solid on the road, and even got the thumbs up from the wife...( sent me to the dealership to buy a new minivan and i came home with a toy instead ). The only anyoying thing is the low oil pressure light keeps coming on and it beeps. I bought it on the 6th of June of this year and the next day i changed the oil and filter ( the oil in the Explorer was blacker than black ). im thinking the sensor is dirty and can not read anything. Engine doesn't knock. My question is...where is it located on the engine and is it hard to get to and change? i checked Youtube but it was on a 02 Explorer....asking now so i don't get fleesed at the dealership on labor charges. Any help would be greatly helpful. Thank You.
