oil presure & tem gauge

Hey every body! Im triying to isntall an oil presure gauge and a waer temp gauge on a 99 XLS 5 speed manual and I need to know the best place to put the sending sensorsI don't know wich v6 I have.

You can put a tee in the heater hose and install the water temp sender there. For the oil pressure sender you can just take out the stock switch and put your sender in there.

where is the stock switch located and where do I gat a tee?

A T-fitting, you can get one from any auto parts store. I'm not sure of the size, you'll need to get one that fits your sender. I'm not sure where the stock oil sender is for your year. Search on this site and you'll probably find an exact location with a pic.
