My mom just came home and her '96 Explorer (65,000mi) had a smell of burning oil and the pressure on the guage inside was low, but was starting to rise. I checked the oil (full) and there appeared to be no leaks. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

No the smell came from the engine compartment...I could smell it really good around the grill. The oil was changed about a month ago and no one has added to it!

Do you see any evidence of a leak(s)?

When was the PCV valve changed?

The PCV valve was replaced in the last 6-9 months and I didnt see any leaks.
