Did you ever get paypal set up for the payments? If not I will mail you a check ASAP. Also will money now have to be included for camping or will we take care of that there?
Our 'wheeling trys to be a family thing, but most of the time other activities get in the way. My "guess" is that my daughter (just got her license a week ago... lucky me!) will be driving the Ex. with my wife and maybe a friend or two.
In general, we attempt to take along a friend or two who is unfamiliar with our sport whenever we have empty seats, so we may have other folks along for the weekend too.

I was wondering if anyone wanted to get together for breakfast the morning of the ride....
the rides leave at 10am and I know that Perkins in Hazleton (next exit down from the camp exit) has a breakfast buffet.... I figure we could all meet there for breakfast around 7:30-8am......
As for the paypal thing.....I know it probably isn't as complicated as it seems but well.....I posted something about the "terms of use" that I don't quite understand...
It would probably be easier for me to get either a check or money order right now.... I am in the process of opening up a new checking account at a credit union so no funds (other than Jeff's check) are in there...I figured I would just go ahead and put all the Paragon funds in there and send them the whole thing at once...
remember to bring at least $5 extra for a tip for the trail guide....

Well, me and my girlfriend are definitely coming. (unless the truck breaks down or something, knock on wood)
I need to know a little more about the camp site. I want to go camping, but my girlfriend does not. Is there a place to shower there? It's gonna be a LONG drive and to not be able to take showers when we get there is not a good idea.
Is anyone staying in a nearby hotel?
Is there anyone who would be willing to meet me somewhere up there Friday night? When I get there, I will be lost. It'd be nice to be able to follow someone who knows where they are going.
Problem: I will not be able to have tow hooks on my truck. I'm going to be doing a body lift this fall and will need to rig a way to mount a brush guard and hitch. I don't want to drill a bunch of holes in my frame and have them turn out to be in a bad place when I start rigging stuff up. Are they really that important for level 1 and 2 trails?
If you want to get in any deep mud action I would suggest it..... but if you really don't want to rig tow hooks then I guess if you happen to get stuck we can rig up something..... it's not like it has never happened before....it's just suggested.... I wouldn't purposfully run through a big deep mud hole with your truck....
As for camping ....they have showers there... pretty nice as camps go.... but if you want a motel ....The Forest Hill Inn is a good place right off exit 41 off of I 81 (I think I posted the phone number earlier in the thread) (right across the street from the Perkins)....I plan on staying there if the weather is bad....If you want you could call me on friday when you get near philadelphia area... (are you taking I 95 up here?) and maybe I could meet up with you to get you on the PA Turnpike.... I could then give ya the directions ( or you could follow me)..... it is maybe about an hour from where I live....

I'll be taking I-81 up there. I get on I-81 from here and stay on it all the way up there until I get to the PA-924 exit, exit #40. The directions to the park on the web page stop there.
My girlfriend has no intentions of camping after such a long trip. I'm not going to argue with her, seeing as how I'd like a bed after such a long trip myself. I'm gonna call and see about making reservations at that Forest Hill Inn. Anyone else going to be staying there also?
I think the breakfast thing is a good idea.
If I can get the trailer hitch I want shipped here in time, I'll put it on so I'll at least have a tow point from the back.
well just got the great news, I got laid off so probably wont be staying overnight on fri, not set in stone yet, but definatlly comming on sat morning, this is what I got from the website
Take I-80 EXPRESS LN WEST RAMP towards DOVER/DEL WATER GAP.
Merge onto I-80 EXPRESS LN W.
I-80 EXPRESS LN W becomes I-80 W.
Take the PA-309 exit
Turn LEFT onto PA-309.
Turn RIGHT onto PA-924 exit #40
so what about after ya get off @ exit 40? gonna need some directions after I get off there. is anyone else goin this way from jersey or newyork that knows the area that I could follow? let me know ok... thanx.......
Well I guess I will also make reservations for the Forest Hill inn too..... Keith??? you still camping??? hehe now all I need to do is cancel the reservations for camping for at least 3 of us...
anyhow good news I heard from Kyle today...he is still gathering up the schedules for the guides that day .... but we definitely will have one and we will know at least by next Tuesday.... ok as for directions
After you get off at the exit there are signs showing you where the various hotels/motels are....they are not far off the exit and very easy to find....Perkins is right accross the street from the Forest Hill Inn. We can all meet up there at a set time (can be determined as the weekend gets nearer)

I think it's just neighborhood kids (pissed at the whole neighborhood because they kicked them out of their hangout) they stole my valve stem covers off three of the Ex tires and 2 off of the Bronco but what pisses me off most is that they stole one of the tool brackets from my Surco roof rack..... it's just vandalism...not because they would actually need something like that...
kids around here are rich brats that have parents that say "ohh no couldn't be my little Johnny" you know the type...

This weekend is on...absolutely.... I will probably arrive at the campground a little later than expected but I will be there.... I have both my Bronco and the Explorer going .....
If you guys arrive at the campground before I do...just tell them you are from the East Coast Explorers and have spots reserved..... as of now there are 4 spots.... John and his girlfriend are staying at the Forest Hill Inn and can still meet up with us there if they want.
